The Scapes

Landscapes and seascapes are visible parts of the Earth’s surface, typically appreciated for their aesthetic appeal, though they aren’t always strictly picturesque. A distant kin to them is a mindscape, which, in contrast, is constantly evolving and volatile.

All scapes alike are independent of the observer with an embedded solidity, but a mindscape is a creation of the mind. The richness and depths of mindscapes vary with the depths and richness of the minds that create them. Average minds create impressions of the material world in their mental plane, and thus created, they add little richness or depth to their mental creations. The more creative the minds are, the more depth they add to their mental realm. It’s all topped up with the mystic’s mind that transcends the physical world. A mystic’s mind is a realm that has very little touch of the physical world—it dwells on the surreal.

A creative mind is always on the prowl to pounce on anything that touches their fancy. Be it a grain of sand or a smudge on a wall, be it a piece of wood or an empty pot. They add their magic to them and create pieces of art or give meaning and functions to the objects in novel ways. The mystic’s mind doesn’t fixate on anything particular: it has an expansive view that constantly lights up everything around them with a divine g

low.
