The Elemental Truth

Wise people don't create truth. Truth has been there for thousands of years. It's timeless and unchanging. Books have documented the fundamental truths of life, including a lot of conditioned truth. Why then do people rush to meet individuals whom they consider wiser, believing these people can enlighten them? To meet these lofty beings, they spend resources and time. Of course, this is not wrong in itself, as lofty beings or not, we are enlightened by the people around us. Not just people, even situations can enlighten us.

Humans, after birth, start learning from experience and education. In this process of learning, they pick up a lot of conditioned knowledge that leads them so far away from truth that they start doubting its authenticity. They believe truth is impractical and has as much use as ornaments in books and speeches. Naturally, this belief happens at a collective level because the common man is not a person to see through this, and it gives birth to hypocrisy; the gap between words and actions widens. This gap widens exponentially, and different aspects of life, differently seasoned by this, give rise to an unwholesome existence that is the cause of humanity's problems. Wise people can see the truth and remain unaffected by the conditionings. They can make the truth accessible to the common man by showing it from different practical perspectives.
